- Turn off the tap when you’re not using the water — i.e. brushing your teeth, washing your face, or cleaning the dishes.

- Don’t use your drain as a trash can! Items that should never go down the drain: oil, grease, meat bones, or paper towels.
- Plant a rain garden to collect polluted runoff water.
