Fall Home Maintenance Checklist
Posted on September 8th, 2016 by BlueMountain
The kids are back in school, but the sun is still shining – the perfect time for you to put together a checklist of to-do’s for the fall season:
Winterize outdoor furniture
As sad as it is to see summer go, it’s best you take good care of your outdoor furniture by covering them with vinyl coverings or stow them away. Outdoor patio cushions can be stored on your own or by a professional – either way, keep them protected for when spring blooms again!
Plant fall blooms
Summer isn’t the only season for flowers, plants, and herbs! Create a fall landscape in your yard by growing Anise Hyssop, Ornamental Kale, Black-Eyed Susan, and Dusty Miller. Many of these are colorful and can add dimension to your outdoor space.
Organize your garage
You’re going to need more room in your garage for storage for cooler weather, so clean out what you don’t need and organize the rest. Create hooks for tools, mason jars for screws, and boxes for other miscellaneous items you need.
Schedule HVAC maintenance
Your heating will most likely need a little maintenance before the cool weather rolls in. Call your local HVAC pro to check your furnace, change the filter, observe your thermostat, and give you some helpful tip for the fall and winter months.
If you need an HVAC tune-up or maintenance, turn to the professionals. Blue Mountain Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is professionally trained and ready to help you fix any problem in no time. Call 877-280-5777 to learn more about how we can help.
