Mark your calendars! Blue Mountain Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is a proud sponsor of the 17th Annual Race to Beat Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk. This year’s Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019. It will start in Westover Park at 305 South Dogwood Drive in Harrisonburg, VA at 9:30am. All proceeds from the event will go to the Rockingham Memorial Hospital Foundation for breast cancer care and treatment. The majority of the funds raised will help to provide mammograms to women that would otherwise be unable to afford them.
Participating In the 2019 Race to Beat Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk
Last year’s event brought in more than $15,000, and we are hoping to make this year’s event even more successful! If you would like to join Blue Mountain Plumbing, Heating and Cooling in participating in this year’s Run/Walk simply visit: https://runsignup.com/Race/VA/Harrisonburg/13thracetobeatbreastcancer to register. Individual participants and teams are welcome. There is a one-time fee of $20/participant if you register before October 11th. If you are assembling a team, the fee is $15/team member with a minimum of 5 people per team. PLUS – the first 500 people to sign up for the event will receive a t-shirt!

Children can also lend their support by entering the annual ‘Race To Beat Breast Cancer Coloring Contest’. Students enrolled in grades K-5 in Harrisonburg, VA can color the sheet found on the website and return it to their school’s office with the attached entry form by October 15th. Winners and prizes will be announced on race day.
