Blue Mountain Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is proud to once again sponsor the Veterans Parade in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The 2019 Veterans Parade is Sunday, November 10th and begins at 2 pm sharp. The parade kicks off in front of the Rockingham County Administration Building which is located at 20 East Gay Street. From there, it will continue south down Main Street, concluding at Harrisonburg City Hall. The parade is always a great time and a wonderful way to honor the brave men and women that have served our country. We invite everyone to join us in this celebration of our Nation’s courageous veterans.
This year’s parade features a special appearance by Living Waters Farm Initiative. Living Waters Farm Initiative has the honor of serving as the 2019 Grand Marshal. Living Waters Farm Initiative has earned this honor through their dedication to working with veterans that suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder:
“It is our goal to provide for the most desperate people in need of love and acceptance; to see the potential in a person who may have lost hope. We want to be a safe place for those suffering from PTSD and the difficulties associated with it. Through love and community, we know freedom beyond what our imagination can grasp. We want to see everyone experience the same freedom we have found.”
The 2019 parade will also feature various veterans groups, local businesses and, of course, the area’s veterans.
