We are excited to announce that Blue Mountain Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is a proud sponsor of the 2019 Happy Birthday America Parade and Events to take place over Independence Day Weekend in Staunton, VA. Since 1970, Happy Birthday America’s events have provided an annual celebration of the 4th of July for the residents and businesses in Greater Staunton to participate in. The events feature a fun way to learn about the history of our great nation while commemorating Independence Day and strengthening the community. And, thanks to the volunteers and sponsors, all events are low-cost or free!
With the first celebration dating back to 1970, each year’s Happy Birthday America celebration has been a great success. We are especially excited about sponsoring this year’s festivities, as it is the 50th anniversary!
2019 Happy Birthday America Events
Happy Birthday America’s parade and events take place in Staunton, Virginia. The 2019 schedule kicks off on Sunday, June 30th with a pageant:

- 1:00pm Happy Birthday America Pageant – Gypsy Park Gymnasium
Wednesday, July 3rd
- 4:00pm Entertainment and Vesper Service – John Moxie Stadium Baseball Field
Thursday, July 4th
- 6:00am Chair Dash – John Moxie Stadium
- 6:30am 5k Run/Walk – Gypsy Hill Park
- 10:00am Parade – Gypsy Hill Park
- 2:00pm Stonewall Brigade Band Performance – Bandstand
- 4:00pm Welcome and Posting of Colors – John Moxie Stadium Baseball Field
- 5:00pm Entertainment begins – John Moxie Stadium
- 9:30pm Retiring of Colors/Taps and Fireworks – Gypsy Hill Park

Participants Needed
Volunteers, vendors, sponsors, pageant entrants and parade participants are still needed to help make 2019’s events better than ever. If you are interested in participating, submit as application online.
